Fund Managers

Vishal Chopda is Senior Vice President & Fund Manager – Equity. Vishal joined UTI AMC in January 2011 as Research Analyst and has covered FMCG, Retail, Consumer Durables, Telecom, Cement, and Building Materials in his research role. He took up fund management responsibilities in February 2018. Prior to joining UTI AMC, he worked with CARE Ratings and TCS. He holds PGDM from Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon and CFA charter from CFA Institute, USA. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Mumbai University.

Sunil Patil is Executive Vice President & Fund Manager – Debt. He joined UTI AMC in October 1989. He has overall  28 years of experience in Primary Market Investment / Dealing and  Fund Management.

Sudhir Agrawal is Executive Vice President & Fund Manager – Fixed Income at UTI AMC Ltd. He joined UTI AMC in 2009 after 4 years of experience. He is a CFA Charter holder from The CFA Institute, USA. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a Masters in Commerce. He has previously worked with CARE (Credit Analysis and Research Ltd.), Transparent Value LLC and Tata Asset Management Company Ltd in different roles.  He is Fund Manager managing various debt schemes.

V. Srivatsa is an Executive Vice President & Fund Manager –Equity at UTI AMC Ltd. He is a B.Com graduate, C.A., C.W.A. and has a PGDM from IIM, Indore. He has been with UTI AMC since 2002. Prior to joining UTI he has worked with Ford, Rhodes Parks & Co., Chartered Accountants for  2 years and as Officer-Audit in Madras Cements Ltd. He started in UTI AMC in the Department of securities research covering varied sectors such as Information Technology, Capital goods and metals. He was promoted as fund manager offshore in December 2005 after a three year stint in the DOSR.

Sachin Trivedi is Senior Vice President and designated as Head of Research & Fund Manager, Equity  at UTI AMC Ltd. He is a B.com graduate from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce, Mumbai and holds a post-graduate degree in management (MMS) from the K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai University. He also holds a CFA charter since 2004 conferred on him by the CFA Institute, USA. He began his career in June 2001, with UTI. Sachin has  16 years experience in research and portfolio management.

Ankit Agarwal joined UTI in August 2019. Presently he has been designated as Fund Manager; managing UTI Mid Cap Fund. He has more than 12 years of experience. Prior to joining UTI he was working with Lehman Brothers, Barclays Wealth and had been associated with Centrum Broking Ltd. also in the capacity of Sr. Vice President. He has done his graduation from National Institute of Technology (B.Tech.) and holds a post graduate degree in Management (PGDM) from IIM, Bangalore.

Amit Sharma – Senior Vice President & Fund Manager – Debt. Amit Sharma has been associated with UTI since 2008 and is responsible for managing Fixed Income portfolios. He has been part of the Fund Management team since 2013 and currently manages the UTI Liquid Fund, UTI Money Market Fund, UTI Medium to Long Duration Fund, and the debt portion of the UTI Arbitrage Fund. His expertise spans Money market and duration strategies within Fixed Income.

Amit Premchandani is Senior Vice President & Fund Manager – Equity. He holds PGDM from IIM Indore and CFA charter from CFA Institute, USA. He has completed CA from ICAI. He graduated in Bachelor of Commerce in 2001 from Heramba Chandra College, Kolkata. Amit joined UTI AMC in 2009 as Senior Research Analyst and has covered Banks, NBFCs, telecom and cement in his research role. He took up portfolio responsibilities in June 2014. Currently he manages UTI Value Fund, UTI ELSS Fund , UTI Dividend Yield Fund, UTI Banking and Financial services Fund, UTI Conservative Hybrid fund.

Ajay Tyagi is Head of Equities at UTI Asset Management. He is a CFA Charter holder from The CFA Institute, USA and also holds a Masters degree in Finance from Delhi University. Ajay joined UTI in the year 2000 and has successfully carried out various roles and responsibilities across equity research, offshore funds as well as domestic onshore funds. He has won many awards and accolades for his performance both domestically and globally.
