Amit Premchandani

Amit Premchandani is Senior Vice President & Fund Manager – Equity. He holds  PGDM from IIM Indore and  CFA charter from  CFA Institute, USA. He  has completed CA from ICAI. He graduated in Bachelor of Commerce in 2001 from Heramba Chandra College, Kolkata. Amit joined UTI AMC in 2009 as Senior Research Analyst and  has covered Banks, NBFCs, telecom and cement in his research role. In addition, he took up portfolio responsibilities in June 2014. He has over 13 years of experience.  He began his career in April 2003, after completing his CA, he joined Peerless Finance as a research analyst in the equity team. Post MBA, he joined JP Morgan in 2006, where he covered the Banking/Financial sector initially in the Global Research Centre and later moved to cover Indian Financials in JP Morgan, India. In April 2008, he joined Deutsche Securities in the role of an Associate Analyst covering Financials.
